Pocket Prizes Ltd (the ‘Promoter’) offers various giveaways resulting in the allocation of prizes (‘Prize, ‘Prizes’) in accordance with these terms and conditions on pocketprizes.co.uk (the ‘Website’) – (each and all such giveaways or prize draws being referred to herein respectively as the ‘Prize Draw’ or ‘Prize Draws’).
1. Eligibility
1.1 The Prize Draws are open to residents of the United Kingdom, aged 18 or over. Identity documents for age verification may be required.
1.2 Employees of the Promoter or any person connected with the Promoter (through family, professional, or commercial association) are subject to restrictions when participating.
1.3 The Promoter reserves the right to suspend any account if it believes there’s any misuse, or if the authenticity of the account holder is in doubt.
1.4 The Promoter may refuse any Prize Draw entry at its own discretion.
2. Legal Conditions
2.1 By entering a Prize Draw, the participant (‘Entrant’) acknowledges that they have the legal capacity to participate and that they have read, understood, and accepted these terms and conditions.
2.2 Participants agree to comply with our Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies as outlined in section 8.
2.3 The Prize Draws are governed by English Law. Any matters or disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration, and participants expressly waive any right to participate in a class action.
2.4 If participating online, you confirm that you’re not violating any local laws.
2.5 The Promoter will not be liable for any unlawful entries.
3. Promotion Periods
3.1 Each Prize Draw will run for a specified period (‘Promotion Period’). Please see each individual Prize Draw on the Website for details of start and end times and dates (‘Promotion Period(s)’).
3.2 The Promoter is designated as the official timekeeper for all Prize Draws. This role is crucial for ensuring the integrity of entry periods and the timely execution of all Prize Draws.
4. Prize Draws
4.1 Prize Draws by the Promoter can be entered via the Website. Multiple Prize Draws can be active simultaneously.
4.2 There is no requirement to pay to enter any Prize Draw, as each has a free entry route available. The availability of a free entry route to enter each Prize Draw means that the Prize Draw does not fall within the definition of gambling under the Gambling Act 2005 and can be operated legally in Great Britain without the need for a licence.
4.3 Participants acknowledge that the free entry route requires the same level of identity verification as the paid route, in compliance with our KYC policy.
4.4 Participants, whether free or paid route of entry, must register a Website account to enter a Prize Draw. To register an account online you will be asked to provide an email address before you can proceed to enter a Prize Draw.
4.5 For each Prize Draw, specific rules may apply. These will be detailed on the individual Prize Draw page on the Website and are considered part of these Terms and Conditions.
4.6 A Prize Draw closes when the last slot is filled and all the ticket numbers have been allocated, or the end of the Promotion Period, whichever comes first. No further entries will be accepted past this point.
4.7 To participate online: (a) Create a Website Account (b) Choose your desired Prize Draw and provide the necessary details. (c) After checkout, you’ll receive an email confirming your entry/entries.
4.8 Free Entry Method:
- To enter a Prize Draw without purchase, first register for a Website Account, ensuring your account details match your postal submission.
- On a blank postcard, legibly handwrite your full name, residential address (P.O. boxes not accepted), date of birth, email address, and the specific title of the Prize Draw you wish to enter, such as ‘Pocket Prizes – Pokémon 151 Ultra Premium Collection’.
- Mail your postcard with appropriate postage to: Pocket Prizes Ltd, Free Entry, [Insert Prize Draw Title], 42-44 Burnley Road East, BB4 9AF, Rossendale, Lancashire.
- Entries must be received before the close of the Promotion Period as stated on the Prize Draw page.
- Limit one entry per Prize Draw per postcard. One free entry per person per Prize Draw is permitted.
- To ensure fairness, all entries must be handwritten. Machine-produced entries will not be accepted.
- Upon receipt, the Promoter will assign a random ticket number to your entry and provide confirmation via email.
- Entries become the property of the Promoter and will not be returned. Incomplete or non-compliant entries will be disqualified.
4.9 The Promoter may refuse any incomplete entries or ones that violate these terms.
4.10 All entries become the property of the Promoter and won’t be returned.
4.11 All postal entries will be processed within 48 hours of receipt. Participants will receive an email confirmation once their entry has been processed and entered into the Prize Draw system.
4.12 All entries, whether paid or free, will be treated equally. Each valid entry, regardless of entry method, will have an equal chance of winning. No purchase or payment is necessary to win or receive a prize.
4.13 If a postal entry is deemed invalid due to non-compliance with these terms, the Promoter will make reasonable efforts to notify the entrant using the contact information provided. The entrant will have the opportunity to resubmit their entry, provided it is within the Promotion Period.
5. Winner Selection and Notification
5.1 Winners will be selected at random using a number generator live on our website and social media pages. The winners will be drawn during the livestream and the results will be made public within 72 hours of the Prize Draw End Time and Date
5.2 Winners will be notified via the email registered on their account within 7 days of the Prize Draw End Time and Date and must respond within 14 days in order to claim their Prize.
5.3 Winners will receive their Prizes within 30 days of confirming their details and accepting the Prize, unless otherwise specified.
5.4 If a winner does not respond within the 14 days, the winner forfeits all claims to the Prize. The Promoter is not liable for any disputes arising from this process.
6. Prizes
6.1 The Prize for each Prize Draw is specified on the Website. The Promoter reserves the right to offer an alternative Prize of equal or greater value, if for any reason the original Prize is no longer available.
6.2 All Prizes are non-transferable, and the Prize can only be exchanged for cash or any other form of alternative compensation at the Promoter’s discretion.
6.3 If the winner is unable to accept the Prize or cannot be contacted within 14 days, the Promoter reserves the right to retain the Prize or award it to an alternative winner.
7. Intellectual Property Rights
7.1 By submitting an entry to the Prize Draw, Entrants grant the Promoter a non-exclusive, royalty-free, and transferable licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and display their submissions in any of its publications, websites, and social media channels for a period of five (5) years from the date of submission. All intellectual property rights remain with the Entrant.
7.2 Winners may be asked to share photographs for promotional purposes. By providing such photographs, winners grant Pocket Prizes Ltd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce, distribute, and display these photographs in any media for promotional, marketing, and other related purposes without the need for payment or further consent for a period of five (5) years from the date of submission. All intellectual property rights remain with the Entrant.
7.3 By entering the Prize Draw, winners agree to participate in any reasonable publicity arranged by the Promoter. The winner’s name and location may be disclosed on the website by the Promoter, unless the winner notifies the Promoter otherwise. If required, the Promoter will also share this data with the relevant regulatory bodies, if necessary to prove the legitimacy of a Prize Draw and the Prize award.
8. Data Protection
8.1 By entering a Prize Draw, you consent to your personal data being used not only for the purposes of administering the Prize Draw but also in accordance with the Promoter’s KYC and AML policies.
8.2 The Promoter will not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes unless you have given explicit consent.
8.3 The Promoter takes all necessary precautions to protect user data but is not liable for any unauthorised access to, or use of, personal data, or for any damages that may result from such unauthorised access or use.
8.4 The Promoter might perform identity verification, risk assessment, and due diligence checks in line with our KYC and AML policies. This may include the collection of additional personal data as necessary.

9. Liability and Indemnification
9.1 Pocket Prizes Ltd is not liable for any disputes arising from ineligible participants winning or attempting to participate in the Prize Draw. It is the responsibility of participants to ensure their eligibility.
9.2 Pocket Prizes Ltd is not responsible for any technical malfunctions, failures, or difficulties, server or provider, computer equipment, software, failure of email on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the internet or at any website, or any combination thereof, including injury or damage to participant’s or to any other person’s computer related to or resulting from participating.
9.3 Pocket Prizes Ltd is not responsible for any damage, loss, or injury resulting from the delivery or use of the Prize once it has been dispatched to the winner. Any complaints or issues with the Prize after delivery should be directed to the manufacturer or service provider.
9.4 Participants agree to abide by any changes to these terms when they are made. It is the responsibility of participants to regularly check the terms and conditions for updates. Pocket Prizes Ltd is not liable for any disputes arising from changes to these terms.
9.5 Participants agree to provide accurate and truthful information for all KYC and AML procedures and acknowledge that failure to do so may result in disqualification from the Prize Draw and potential legal action.
9.6 If an alternative winner is chosen due to the inability to contact the original winner, the original winner forfeits all claims to the Prize. Pocket Prizes Ltd is not liable for any disputes arising from this process.
9.7 Indemnification: Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pocket Prizes Ltd, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any and all claims, damages, expenses, costs (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) and liabilities (including settlements), brought or asserted by any third party against any of them due to or arising out of the participants’ entry or conduct during and in connection with this Prize Draw.
10. General
10.1 These terms and conditions and any disputes or claims arising out of or in connection with them or their subject matter or formation (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by and construed in accordance with English law.
10.2 If any provision of these terms and conditions is held by any competent authority to be invalid or unenforceable in whole or in part, the validity of the other provisions and the remainder of the provision in question will not be affected.
10.3 The Promoter may update these terms and conditions at any time to reflect changes in the law or our business practices. Participants are advised to review the terms regularly to stay informed of any changes.
